Scammers Are Offering Free Airline Tickets – It’s A Scam Don’t Be A Victim

Scammers are posting messages on Facebook and other social media channels regularly offering to give-away free first-class airline tickets. It’s a scam and don’t fall for it. These scammers have no association with the airlines or the booking companies including Flightag Booking Service. You stand zero chance of “winning” a free ticket.

Do not click on any links or “contest” banners, and DO NOT give any personal information.

Additionally, beware of e-mail scams. You may receive emails promising free tickets. It does not work, since airlines do not normally give away free flights tickets. You have to pay for what you use.

Many Popular Airlines Targeted

Scammers have no preference of which airline to use, they typically rotate top airlines around the world including Delta Airlines, American Airlines, Spirit, Qantas, British Airways, Emirates, Jamaica Airways, Turkish Airlines, Bahamasair, Philippine Airlines, KLM, Etihad Airways, Virgin Australia, Southwest Airlines, Qatar Airways, Frontier Airlines, Aer Lingus, and a host of other airlines.

Back in 2017 Brett M. Christensen from the hoax-slayer website wrote a detailed report on this scam.
