Korean Air is revamping its SKYPASS frequent flyer program to increase customer benefits and to be in line with global aviation standards.

Starting in November 2020, Korean Air will introduce a test-run option for customers to use the miles and cash/credit combination to purchase flight tickets, making it easier for customers to use earned mileage. Then in April 2021 a more robust system for mileage accrual and redemption based on airfares and distances flown will be implemented.

The new SKYPASS elite membership will have four classes, the Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond levels will be introduced in February 2022.

The update SKYPASS system can be used on both the Korean Air website and mobile application.

Korean Air mobile app is available for both IOS and Android.

Korean Air on The App Store.
Korean Air on Google Play.

There is a minimum limit of 500 miles to up to 20% of airfare (excluding tax and fuel surcharges).
