Emirates Increases Safety Measures To Protect Customers And Employees At The Airport And On-board

Emirates increases safety measures to protect customers and employees at the airport and on-board. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is now required by all cabin crew, boarding agents and ground staff with direct contact with passengers. This includes a protective disposable gown over their uniforms and a safety visor, this is in addition to wearing masks and gloves.

Gloves and masks are mandatory for all customers and employees at Dubai International Airport. Passengers and employees body temperatures are monitored by thermal scanners as they step into the airport. Additionally, physical distancing indicators have been installed reminding travelers to maintain the necessary distance during check-in and boarding.

Seats are pre-allocated with vacant seats placed between individual passengers on board Emirates’ flights.

All Emirates aircraft goes through an enhanced cleaning and disinfection processes in Dubai, after each journey.
