Delta introduces new first class seats for A321neo domestic fleet. If you fly first class on any Delta Airlines A321neo domestically, get ready to enjoy premium cabin features such as more privacy, more comfort, larger screens and superior stowage. Delta’s new Airbus A321neo is scheduled for delivery in late 2020.
“As an industry leader in innovation, we are always looking for new ways to improve the overall customer experience,” said Mauricio Parise, Managing Director of Product Development. “Customer insights were instrumental to the new design, and we spent hundreds of hours listening to customers so that we could respond with thoughtful improvements. We’ve completely customized every feature on the seat to create a truly unique, premium seating product for domestic First Class.”
The new seat design will bring elements of international travel experience that customers have enjoyed on wide-body aircraft to domestic routes.
Highlights of the new A321neo First Class seats include:
- A fixed headrest allowing increased privacy and better sleep without compromising seat width or space
- A larger and sturdier tray table, including more work space
- More volume for storing personal items and devices, including dedicated laptop stowage and water bottle stowage for all phases of flight
- Thoughtful touches, such as customer-facing power ports and enhanced memory-foam cushions for added comfort
The A321neo will also feature a next-generation, wireless in-flight entertainment system with an over-sized high-definition seat-back screen with personalized entertainment experiences.
These new seat enhancements are part of Delta’s multi-billion dollar investment in on-board customer experience.
